Hi,
my printer is connected to the internet as I have been printing wirelessly and the printer information page states it is. however when I try to print the code needed to set up HP instant ink, (holding information and cancel at the same time) a page comes out saying printer not connected to the internet when printer information page says it is. I have tried printing the page multiple times and the same things happen, just wasting ink now!
What else can I do so I get the code or the email address needed to set up HP instant ink?
Thanks!!

I have gone through your Post and I would like to help
I suggest you update the Printer Firmware. You can refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
Next enable web services from the EWS Page
-
Print a Network Configuration or self-test page to obtain the printer IP address needed to view the EWS webpage.
-
Find the printer IP address on the Network Configuration or self-test page.
-
On your computer, open an Internet browser.
-
Type the printer IP address in the browser address bar, and then press Enter.
NOTE: Make sure to type the IP address into the Internet browser's address box. If typed into a toolbar search box or search engine, the EWS does not open.
-
If a website security certificate displays in the Internet browser, click Continue.
The EWS information page for the printer opens, which confirms that the printer is on the same network as the computer.
-
On the EWS webpage, click the Web Services tab.
-
If a Web Services tab is not available, your printer does not support Web Services.
-
If a Web Services Summary page displays, Web Services is already on.
-
If a Web Services Setup page displays, click Continue, Turn On, or Enable.
-
-
Follow the on-screen instructions to turn on Web Services
After you turn on Web Services, wait for the printer to print the Make the Most of Your Printer or Important Printer Setup Instructions page. The information page contains information about Web Services, and includes the printer claim code required to add your printer on HP Connected.
Occasionally there is a delay when printing the information page. If you turned on Web Services, but the page does not print, wait 5 to 10 minutes. If it still does not print, turn off Web Services, and then turn on Web Services again, to obtain a new information page.Locate the printer claim code on the page.
If the information sheet lists an email such as abc234vbn3434@hpeprint.com, then the printer claim code is the number and characters before @hpeprint.com. For example, abc234vbn3434 would be the printer claim code.
Note: The printer claim code is valid for 24 hours. If the code expires, repeat these steps to get a new code.
