I do not use InstantInk. Whenever I try to print something, the print job won’t go through until I hit “Dismiss” on the printer screen. The entire message is as follows: At the top it reads “Instant Ink” , in the body it says press OK to connect printer to update status. At the bottom is “Dismiss” on the left, and “Connect” on the right. If I press “Dismiss” the printer job will go through. Since I don’t have Instant Ink, I don’t need to connect. How do I get rid of this message so I don’t have to hit “Dismiss” in order for the print job to print?  I print from an iPad.

@LXSlewis, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Make sure you are not using HP Instant Ink cartridges in the printer to print.

Use HP regular ink cartridges to print.

 

Let us turn off the web services on the printer to resolve this issue.

Kindly refer to this document to know how to turn it off. 

 

Restart the printer and try printing.
