HP Recommended
Product: HP DJ 3755
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer is working well but Instant Ink account shows printer as offline. 

I have:

- verified connectivity to my home network

- verified I can print normally

- Disconnected power with printer turned on, waited 60 seconds, reconnected power

- Signed out and back in to Instant Ink account

 

Appreciate any additional suggestions or advice.

Update: The problem seems to have corrected itself. Among the many, many things I tried was to allow HP.com to auto-detect the printer for the purpose of downloading software (previously installed, of course). The printer was correctly identified and it was recommended that I download HP Smart, which of course was previously installed also. When I launched HP Smart it indicated that the printer was ready. I clicked on Get Ink which took me to my Instant Ink account page. At that moment, the page showed that the printer was now online.

 

I wish I hadn't wasted an hour so so screwing with this but am pleased that the printer is being detected correctly.
