Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
On the HP Instant Ink home screen my printer is listed as online, but I get an error message saying "Cannot connect to printer now.  Try again later."  I'm able to print to the printer from my computer, but it does not register pages used  under my HP Instant Ink account.  Also, under Ink Status it says "Your service hasn't started yet.  We shipped you ink, however your billing won't begin until you install an HP Instant Ink cartridge. "   I have installed the ink cartridges.  After chatting with a customer service agent for 2.5 hours about this, he finally decided my cartridges were faulty and sent me new ones.  Unfortunately, after installing the new cartridges, I'm getting the same errors.  Before the new cartridges were installed, the printer stopped printing, giving the error message "cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled in HP instant ink."   However, my printer shows up under Printer Details and is listed as enrolled.  HELP!!

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Try updating the printer's firmware. Download ans install the firmware update from this link.  

 

If the issue still persists, please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
