Hi @Tainosr,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're unable to print with any type of ink in your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some common troubleshooting steps to help you identify and resolve the problem.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Make sure you have sufficient ink levels in your printer cartridges. Low or empty ink cartridges can prevent printing.

Check for Error Messages:

  • Look for any error messages or warnings on your printer's display panel or on your computer screen. These messages can provide clues about the problem.

Replace or Reinstall Ink Cartridges:

  • If your ink cartridges are empty or low, replace them with new, genuine HP ink cartridges. Ensure they are installed correctly and securely.

Printer Cleaning:

  • Perform a printer cleaning or printhead cleaning from the printer's control panel or through the printer software. This can help clear any clogs in the printhead that may be preventing ink flow.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause printing issues.

Restart Your Printer:

  • Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in. Turn the printer on and see if it resolves the issue.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Sometimes, paper jams or obstructions in the paper path can prevent printing. Check for and remove any paper jams.

Network and Connection Issues:

  • If you're printing wirelessly, ensure that your printer is connected to the same network as your computer. Check for any network connectivity issues.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer and install them if necessary. Firmware updates can address known issues and improve printer performance.

Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges:

  • Using genuine HP ink cartridges is recommended for optimal printer performance. Third-party or refilled cartridges may not work correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
