I have a HP Envy 7640 printer. I bought a new computer and re-installed the printer software that came wioth i 2 years ago. In the past, I could go to an entry on the Strqt Progrms listing under HP (I believe it was like Smart Scan Extended) and go to my desktop and open a scanning program that scanned and gave me severla options to adjust the scan; like choose pdf or jpg or email, select destinaiton, file name, etc. With my currnt setup, I can go to HP Smart, choose between scan, instant ink, print dovuments, print photos, etc. But now when I scan, I have limited options __basically just edit the scan and save it. No options on what kind of scan,, etc. I can't find the source of that option program to download. Can you help? Karl

nks. I had downloaded all sorts of drivers, etc. but to no avail. I had finally stumbled onto this site after I went to the Forum, but even then, the HP process was not that straightforward. Your web site suggtion worked fine.
