Good afternoon,

After chatting with two HP agents who provided not help at all but to transfer me to one to another to a third.  

This is my issue.  Got a new printer.  Went thru the steps to add to Ink plan.  Once it go to the step to add the printer - it's not showing on the app or my HP account but shows on HP smart app on my computer.  I click add supplies as instructed and it states printer already added - it's not.  

How to add this printer to the ink/toner account? 

How to get it to show on app on phone?

How to get it connected with a crazy error messages?

True, some printers are eligible for an Instant Ink Print-by-Page subscription plan.

 

An Instant Ink subscription is optional.

 

Said yet another way:

An ink plan is not related to installing HP Smart or adding your printer to the HP Smart application.

 

HP Smart wants you to sign into your HP Account.

 

Subscribing to HP Instant Ink requires an Instant Ink account.
