HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer. A message showed that "A problem has occurred with your HP printer and you will be unable to pint until the issue is resolved". What should I take any actions to get this issue resolved? Please help. Thanks!!

If you encounter an error message indicating a problem with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One printer and find it unable to print, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Restart Your Printer:

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds before turning it back on.
  • Check if the error message persists.

Check Connections:

  • Ensure that the power cord is securely connected to both the printer and the power outlet.
  • Check if any cables (USB or network) are properly connected.

Check for Any Jams or Obstructions:

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path.
  • Remove any debris that might be obstructing the rollers or paper path.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Visit the HP Support website to check if there are any firmware updates available for your model and install them.

Run a Printer Status Report:

  • Go to the printer's control panel, select the Settings icon, and touch Tools.
  • Run a Printer Status Report to check for any specific error codes or messages.

Verify Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly and have sufficient ink levels.
  • Replace any critically low or empty cartridges.

Perform Printhead Cleaning:

  • Use the automated tool from the printer’s control panel to clean the printhead several times if needed.
  • On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Tools > Clean Printhead.
