Seem like they are getting greedy. 25% increase in cost of Instant ink. Can't use cartridges I already paid $284.88 for over 81 months and only received 2 black and 1 tricolor cartridge that I could have purchased for less than $100.00.

Hi @JCwitter,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are looking for information related to your instant ink service.

Instant Ink printing plans are based on pages, not cartridges. You choose an Instant Ink plan based on the number of pages you would like to print monthly. Your monthly plan fee enables you to use the subscription cartridges to print your plan pages, and includes ink delivery and recycling.

Cancellation requests take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Because Instant Ink bills at the end of each billing cycle, you will receive one final monthly charge, if applicable to your account.

At the end of the billing cycle you will have to remove the instant ink catridges and use regular genuine ink cartridges to resume printing.

No, this wasn't helpful, I understand  the process. I believe your reply reflects the lack of fairness in how HP treats loyal customers. Your response did not mention the 15.5% (50% since I started) price increase from $4.32 to $4.99. When I signed up in 2018 the price was $3.24. I have paid in $284.88 over 81 months. In that time I have received 2 black cartridges and 1 tricolor. Not to mention that I ran out of ink before you sent the ink. Now adding insult to injury you are going to charge me another $4.32 and not let me finish using the cartridges I already paid way more than they are worth. Current price at stores such as Staples, Officemax, Target and others is $54.99. I stick with my assessment of HP as getting GREEDY.
