I have NEVER found a company that is so hard to speak to a human being. Although I know business in society is going that way, this beats the lot.
I wont go into details now, but I think I was recently scammed of £150 with a guy who said he was with HP.
He convinved me to let him use "Remote Access" which I have used before with a company.

Hi @frenchman961,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Could you please provide more details about what happened? If you’ve already contacted HP Support, you should have received a case number via email, sharing that with us would be helpful.
Please note that HP only takes remote access with the customer's explicit consent, and our support agents do not access any personal files or data on your device during the session.
Kindly share a brief overview of the situation so we can better understand and ensure that you receive the appropriate assistance. We're here to help you every step of the way.
Warm regards,
Kuroi_Kenshi

To be brief if i may as it is taking up a lot of my time.
- I lost my HP printer network connection
- I googled HP support
- I quite wrongly did not choose the correct link
- I ended up speaking to a guy called Sean
- I DO understand about remote access, I have used it before and I watched where he went.
- ANYTHING of importance is never left on my pc but on a memory stick which I insert when needed
- he convinced me that O had Trojans on pc and he scanned it to remove.
- when it came to pay, it was 3100 to clean up, and the CHOICE of a further 1 year protection at £50
- I paid the £150 and it was paid to a "so called" PAYPAL account of HP
- I received an email supposed to be from PP and if I can, I will attach
- when my bank statement arrived 2 days after, I saw the £150 paid to PP.
- case number is Case ID PP-R-HFD-579270787: We can't complete this investigation
- I have their email but I cannot attach, I CAN forward it if given an email address ?
