HP LaserJet M209dw Printer

Right, am really getting fed up of this. You buy a printer and expect to be able to use it, especially with a subscription. Twice i have had a problem when the hp web servies wont activate. It isnt os specific either, i can access the printer via its ip address and has been working, then all of a sudden it stops. The last time i had to reinstall the bloody thing to get anything to print, surely there is something wrong somewhere.

Why should i constantly need to reboot the router, computer or printer. I have been using networked printers for many years, and this one is just isnt worth the hassle. I log into my subscription account and everything is in order, so why can i not print with a printer that has been paid for.

And going by posts, i am not the only one.

I can remember a time, not so long ago, when hp printers wouldnt work on windows 11, yes i had to downgrade my OS at the time to get them to work.

So if someone has got any suggestions before this one goes through the window, i would be grateful. And the wife has just gone self-employed and so needs a woriing printer for invoices, so this is costing her money now.
