Hello I found an old HP Photosmart A636 printer that has a 110 ink cartridge but when I bought a hp 110 ink cartridge to replace it - it says it’s not compatible but its the same cartridge number and on hp website that’s the replacement cartridge so I’m not sure why printer is not recognizing cartridge. Please Help! Thank You!

@aidaniel, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

I see that you have issues with the printer after replacing the ink, this could be an issue with the cartridge or the printer ink system.

 

I'd recommend you follow the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge to isolate and resolve the issue.
