Hi @Joe19441,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Enrolling your printer in HP Instant Ink is a relatively simple process. HP Instant Ink is a subscription service that delivers ink or toner cartridges to your doorstep when your printer is running low on ink. Here's how you can enroll your printer in HP Instant Ink.

  • Check Eligibility: First, ensure that your printer is eligible for HP Instant Ink. Not all HP printers are compatible with the service, so visit the HP Instant Ink website (instantink.hpconnected.com) and verify whether your printer model is supported.
  • Purchase an Instant Ink Plan: You will need to choose a subscription plan that suits your printing needs. HP offers different plans based on the number of pages you print per month. Visit the HP Instant Ink website and select the plan that fits your requirements. You'll need to provide your payment information during this step.
  • Create an HP Account: If you don't already have an HP account, you'll need to create one. This account will be used to manage your Instant Ink subscription.
  • Add Your Printer: After purchasing a plan and creating an HP account, sign in to your account. You will be prompted to add your printer. Make sure your printer is connected to the internet, as this is required for communication with HP's servers. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
  • Activate Instant Ink: Once your printer is added, you will be asked to confirm the printer's eligibility for Instant Ink. Follow the prompts to activate the service on your printer.
  • Install HP Smart App (Optional): Download and install the HP Smart app on your mobile device or computer. This app allows you to manage your Instant Ink account, monitor your printing, and order ink when needed.
  • Enjoy Automatic Ink Shipments: With your printer enrolled, it will now automatically send ink level information to HP. When your printer's ink is running low, HP will ship replacement cartridges to your address, so you never run out of ink.
  • Review and Update Your Plan: Keep an eye on your subscription and make sure your plan meets your printing needs. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time via your HP account.

Remember that Instant Ink is a subscription service, and you will be billed monthly based on your plan. Be sure to keep your payment information up to date, and make any necessary changes to your plan as your printing needs change.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
