My ink status says my ink levels are fine but I cannot get magenta ink printed. Blue and yellow work fine so it's not a dirty head or ink cartridge. It just seems to be out of magenta ink. How do I request a new printer cartridge?

The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges. Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower center of the opening screen.
It is likely that the cartridge is not empty, but has perhaps air ingested into the magenta portion of the tri-color cartridge. You may be able to resolve this as follows: get a small coffee cup and put 1" of very hot (but not boiling) water in it. Put the cartridge in the cup in the same orientation it would be in the printer, with the nozzles facing down. Let the cartridge soak for ten minutes. Remove the cartridge and dry the electrical contacts by blotting them with a lint-free wipe. A clean coffee filter works well for this. Put the cartridge back in the printer and then follow the steps from step 11 on in the document here.
