I have changed Internet provider, everything wifi is working fine But the hp printer is not allowing the instant ink server to communicate with the printer. I'm guessing this is a firewall block type issue .. or security block issue .. how do I resolve this please. As there is nothing wrong with the new Internet,  all devices are working perfectly with wifi .. it's purely the instant ink server not being allowed to communicate with my printer.

May I know if you are using the printer with a computer or a phone?

If using a computer, which operating system is installed on your computer? If using a phone, is it an iPhone or Android?

 

What is the status of your printer's wireless light? Is it blinking or steady?

 

Do let me know the requested information so that I can assist you further.

 

Also, let me check your instant ink account status. Please check your private message and share the requested details in private only for the privacy of your data.

Thank you for responding.

however, I have finally resolved the issue . So now my instant ink account is working / communicating with my hp printer. 
what I hadn’t made sure of was to make sure the network on the printer was set to automatic rather than manual .. I’d set the WiFi to automatic but hadn’t checked the ip address was set to automatic too .. 

always an issue when trying to set up a new hp printer or new internet provider .. with the instant ink site … always happens every time with this , doesn’t affect any other site but the instant ink site!
