Hello,

 

I began using Instant Ink in May 2021, and since then have never received new ink maybe because I rarely print anything. In the meantime I am charged £2 per month. In November problems began such as pages printing with streaks, or too faint to see etc. No new ink was sent, but I keep paying. Until December: my credit card changed and I did not informa HP of my new card because I get no service - print nothing and have received no new ink since May 2021. I have tried calling customer support multiple times but never get through. Now I have begun the process to cancel my subscription but it requires returning the current ink cartridges in the original package which I do not have. I cannot return them.

 

The service is very disappointing and I cannot get help directly from HP. Does anyone here know what I can do, please?

I see that you have issues with Instant Ink service. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

You will receive replacement ink cartridges only if one or more ink cartridges is low/empty or is defective.

 

If you have print quality issues, you will have to contact HP and inform about the same as HP Instant Ink server cannot know about this issue. I see that you have tried this, the contact info is available on the Instant Ink web site.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues

Clean the ink cartridges and print a test page to check the result.

 

If the issue persists, to assist you better, I would need some information related to your Instant Ink Subscription. This information cannot be shared on a public post.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

 

However, if you have decided to cancel the service, follow the steps mentioned in this document - Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Service

 

  1. Sign in to hpinstantink.com/signin.

    Your HP Instant Ink account page opens.

  2. On your HP Instant Ink account page, click Order a Cartridge Recycling Envelope in the Help Center area.

  3. Review your order, and then click Submit.
