I've just moved and no longer have WiFi. I've found posts saying yes you can use an instant ink printer through a mobile hotspot (even though not ideal) but no one saying how to actually connect it. Can anyone give me instructions please? Deskjet 2630 - no touchscreen. I've tried doing it through the HP app on my laptop but it just goes round in circles and won't connect. I can't understand what the difference is, an Internet connection is an Internet connection surely?! As long as my laptop is connected to the Internet somehow surely the printer should be able to connect through it? When i log in to my instant ink account on my phone with the printer turned on, it seems to update my account & show it's connected so why won't it print?! Driving me nuts!
Thanks:-)

I see that you wanted to know if instant ink printer can work on mobile hotspot.
Please note that instant ink printer works only when connected to the router. It will not work when connected to mobile hotspot.
You may refer to this document for more details.
Let me know if this works.
