Check the Printer’s Network Connection:

  • Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.

Log Out and Log in Again on Instant Ink Website:

  • Go to Instant Ink Website.
  • Log out and then log back in with your account to refresh the connection.

Reinstall the HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App from the Microsoft Store.
  • Open it and follow the setup to reconnect your printer and Instant Ink.

Check Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer has the latest firmware. Go to HP Smart or the printer's web portal to check for updates.
  • If updates are available, follow the prompts to update your printer.

Reconnect Instant Ink in HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart App.
  • Click on Printer Settings.
  • Under Instant Ink, try to disconnect and reconnect your Instant Ink subscription.

Restart the Router:

  • Power off your router for 30 seconds, then power it back on.
  • Wait for all the lights to stabilize and then restart your printer to re-establish the connection.

Perform a Network Reset on the Printer:

  • If the above steps don’t help, you may need to reset the printer’s network settings:
