I continue to be billed for instant ink, but the HP website says I have no printers registered.I have had this printer registered and received the instant ink regularly. All of a sudden, I don't exist but they are still taking my money every month!

 What is going on?

Hi @rone-9,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds frustrating to be charged for Instant Ink while your printer is no longer listed on your account. This usually happens when the printer gets disconnected from the Instant Ink service due to a network change, account issue, or firmware update.

To reconnect your printer to Instant Ink, follow these steps:

Step 1: Check Your HP Account

  1. Log in to your HP Instant Ink account: HP Instant Ink Login
  2. Go to My Account > My Printers
  3. If your printer is missing, it has been deregistered and needs to be added back.

Step 2: Re-enroll Your Printer

  1. Make sure your printer is connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. On your printer's touchscreen, go to Setup > HP Instant Ink (or Web Services) and enable it.
  3. If prompted, print an enrolment page and follow the instructions.
  4. If your printer still doesn't show up, Factory Reset your printer, then set it up again through HP Smart.

Step 3: Verify Your Subscription

  1. Check your Instant Ink subscription status under Billing & Payments.
  2. If your plan was accidentally cancelled or downgraded, you might need to reactivate or re-enroll your printer.

After completing these steps, your printer should be back online with Instant Ink. If the issue persists, do share the Printer serial number or Instant Ink ID so I can try to find and get all the help

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
