I have a 64xl cartridge that I bought on Amazon (have purchased that way many times in the past).  I'm getting an error message that the cartridge is not communicating with the printer.  How do I get a warranty replacement?

If you're experiencing issues with a new HP 64XL cartridge and believe it's a genuine HP product, Here's a guide on what you can do:

 

Check the Cartridge: Make sure that you have removed any protective tape or packaging from the cartridge. Sometimes, a small piece of tape might be covering the contacts, preventing communication with the printer.

 

Clean Contacts: Ensure that the contacts on both the cartridge and the printer are clean. Gently wipe them with a lint-free cloth to remove any dust or debris.

 

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve communication issues.

 

Update Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your HP Envy Photo 7855 printer. Firmware updates can address compatibility issues and improve overall performance.
