HP Instant Ink+ includes in it's contract the process of replacing your HP Instant Ink+ provided printer with a new one every few years or so as part of the service. I'm still not sure what to do with an old one when it gets replaced. I received an HP Instant Ink+ enrolled replaced printer from my father-in-law, but did some research, and found that I cannot add it to my HP Instant Ink+ plan. So, what do I do with this older printer, still in good shape, but not able to be put to good use?

Hi @ShaneB-Z,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

As you received a replacement unit for the printer you will not able to use the service on the old one ,but you continue to use the printer with regular ink.

Hope this helps!
