My printer is not working because I unsubscribe to instant ink that I don't use regular. What can I do

Welcome to the HP English Community --

 

A couple of observations

 

No worries - you never owned the Instant Ink cartridges / Subscription Cartridges

Subscription Cartridges remain the property of HP.

 

What? 

 

Cartridges are made available during an active subscription to the service.

After the contract is ended, the cartridges lock and cannot be used in any printer.

 

After the subscription is terminated by you (the customer) or by HP, 

Remove all Instant Ink / Subscription cartridges from the printer and return them (free service) to HP.

Purchase a new set of HP ink cartridges and install them in the printer.

 

 Why am I unable to print with HP Instant Ink cartridges?

What else?

 

No installed cartridge will survive indefinitely if not used regularly -- once installed, ink cartridges are meant to be used.

 

"Regularly" might be as little as once a week.

Print something, perhaps even just a printer report, to help maintain the ink supply.
