HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I bought an inexpensive all in one 4155e printer for my home. I decided to try their free trial of ink then decided to continue with paying 5.99 per month for it. A year later(yesterday) I decided to cancel it. No problem except they shut my printer down demanding I send them back the ink cartridges I received a year ago as part of the contract. basically HP said no printer til you send us back their ink cartridges, even though they almost a year old.
i would have thought the 5.99 per month was for ink cartridge and would be mine afterwards. I had to rejoin the ink contract or be without a printer.
last time I buy anything from hp! Please make this right! Cancel my contract and let me have the ink cartridges.

@Lenportelli, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Cancelling HP All-In Plan Subscription and Handling Printer Block!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When you cancel your HP All-In Plan subscription, HP requires the return of the printer and the ink cartridges received through the automatic delivery service. Printing services are turned off immediately if you cancel within 30 days of enrollment or at the end of your billing cycle if you cancel later.

Here are the steps to cancel your subscription and handle the return of your printer and cartridges:

Sign In to Your Account:

  • Go to MyAccount, click Sign In, and enter your account credentials.

Cancel the Plan:

  • Click HP All-in Plan, then Overview in the left menu.
  • Click Cancel Plan in the Plan Details section, then confirm cancellation.

Return the Printer and Cartridges:

  • You will receive an email with printer return instructions. Return the printer within 10 days of the end of the billing cycle with the prepaid label supplied by HP or FedEx.
  • If you cannot find the email, check your junk or spam folders, or log in to your account to print or save the QR or RMA code. Your local mailing center can help generate a mailing label with the QR or RMA code.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
