If I cancel instant ink at end of trial, am I limited in any way? I don’t use the printer often and I don’t want to have to worry about printing more than my plan allows. I just want to buy my own ink and print as often as I like.  I have a 6455e printer.

Hi @subito,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you cancel HP Instant Ink at the end of the trial period, you can still use your HP printer with standard ink cartridges that you purchase on your own. Canceling Instant Ink won't limit your ability to use the printer, and you won't be subject to the page-per-month plans associated with the Instant Ink service.

After canceling Instant Ink, you'll be responsible for buying and replacing ink cartridges as needed. Your HP 6455e printer should work with standard ink cartridges that are compatible with your printer model. Keep in mind that the ink usage will depend on your printing needs, and you won't have any page-per-month restrictions imposed by Instant Ink.

Just make sure to remove the Instant Ink cartridges (if provided) from your printer and replace them with regular ink cartridges once you decide to cancel the Instant Ink service. Always refer to your printer's manual or HP's official website for information on compatible ink cartridges for your specific printer model.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
