Solved!

Impossible to Reach an HP Support Agent

HP Recommended
HP ENVY 4520 All-In-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

My main problem is that my Instant Ink cartridge has been shipped to the wrong address, but it seems there is no way to amend this because it is impossible for me to get an HP support agent on the phone to explain this too.  I have tried calling several times, and apparently need a case number to be allowed to talk to someone.  I cannot get a case number because the HP support page will not let me sign in to my account, and will not recognize my product name or printer serial number.  I have spent two hours now exploring the nooks and crannies of the HP support page and talking to the virtual agent probably 20 times.  Everything I am directed to is completely useless and I am starting to get extremely frustrated.  How am I supposed to get a case number if the HP support system doesn't work properly?  My internet connectivity, browser, OS, software, and everything is perfectly fine.  The only issue is HP's services, and so this has made it impossible for me to fix this issue, talk to someone on the phone, and then explain that I need the ink cartridge sent to the new address I have updated my account with.

Please help before I am madder than a hatter.

Cheers.

The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges.  Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number will be listed in the lower right of the opening screen.  The standard HP Support number is for products in warranty, the support number you can find as shown above is the one to use for Instant Ink.  Please post back here if you have issues contacting them.
