I am getting a printer cartidge error - "incompatible." This error came in after I completed printing a few pages. The cartidge was supplied by HP instant Ink and is authentic. It had only been in use a short time and was essentially full before the error came up. The firmware & sorftware are up-to-date, and the cartidges have been removed and reinstalled multiple times. In fact when I used the problem solver one test page printed successfully but the error then returned immediately. Any ideas?

The printer cartridge issue has been resolved. I finally made contact with the appropriate Instant Ink support person who tested a few things and determined the tricolor cartridge had failed. A replacement cartridge was sent to replace the bad one.

Have you tried checking with a different ink cartridge?
Please share the complete printer model name to assist you better.
Replace low, empty or faulty ink cartridges on your printer.
Remove, inspect, then reseat the ink cartridges
If the issue still persists after trying out the steps share us few details in a private message, so I can initiate an order to ship you the replacement ink cartridge.
