Hi @KaylaNichole93,

When new cartridges aren't accepted, it's usually the tape, contact or chip.

Option 1 – Reseat the cartridges

  1. Remove the new cartridge and make sure all the protective tape is removed (not the copper contacts).
  2. Gently wipe the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water; let them dry.
  3. Reinsert until it clicks, close the door, then power reset: unplug for 60 seconds and turn it on.

Option 2 – Check the cartridge type

  1. The ENVY Pro 6455 uses HP 67 / 67XL. Make sure it's an original HP 67 for your region.
  2. Check the panel/HP app message (e.g. "incompatible" or "missing").
  3. If it's a refilled or third-party cartridge, contact the seller; if it's original HP, contact HP: https://support.hp.com/contact-hp
