I have an OfficeJet 4650. It has worked fine for years. All of a sudden the ink the sent through the inkjet program gave me errors. Installed wrong, ink cartridge error etc. I requested new ones and they are doing the same thing. This is is so frustrating! I tried all the solutions given on HP and nothing works, keeps pinging saying reinstall cartridges. Please help!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If you're encountering persistent ink cartridge errors with your HP OfficeJet 4650, here are a few steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check the Ink Cartridge Installation:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Remove the cartridges and check for any stickers or tape covering the nozzles or electrical contacts that need to be removed.
- Reinsert the cartridges securely into their respective slots.
- Close the ink cartridge access door and plug the printer back in.
2. Clean the Ink Cartridge Contacts:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Remove the ink cartridges.
- Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with distilled water to gently wipe the electrical contacts on the cartridges and in the printer.
- Allow them to dry completely before reinserting the cartridges.
3. Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer using the power button and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 30 seconds, then plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Retry the operation to see if the issue persists.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
