HP DeskJet Plus 4152 All-in-One Printer

When I print my class notes to study, the ink smears a lot when I highlight any text. I tried everything! And i need to be able to highlight my text, there’s no point in having a printer for me otherwise. I have an HP Deskjet Plus  4152 printer. is there any type of paper that I could use to prevent the ink from smearing when highlighting? I already tried the HP BrightWhite24 and the HP Premium24, nothing works so far.

It's not the printer model - its the combination of printer ink and printed paper that is not compatible with the ink in the pen.

Try / Consider

You need a different type of highlighter pen.

Look for a gel type highlighter.

I know the printer isn’t the problem, I asked for a recommended paper to use, not a recommended highlighter. I tried gel highlighters, I really don’t like them, I wanna be able to use regular highlighter,

anyways, thank you!

You are welcome.

The highlighter is likely dissolving the ink used in the inkjet printer.

Understood - Search for a different answer - there are many articles on the subject and perhaps someone has found a "paper answer" that you will like.

Good Luck.
