I have been reading reviews on the instaink on customer thoughts of the subscription. I had seen one review about a customer who ended the subscription and went back to using standard cartridges but the printer had an error. Like it was not able to use standard cartridges or her printer at all because of the printer stating it is not a instaink cartridge. Is this kind of situation easily resolved with being able to use the printer with standard if a customer decides to cancel the subscription?

Hi @Beachwaves,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are looking for information related to instant ink service.
You can cancel your Instant Ink printing plan at any time.
Cancellation requests take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Because Instant Ink bills at the end of each billing cycle, you will receive one final monthly charge, if applicable to your account.
Instant Ink subscription cartridges only work while your printer is enrolled in Instant Ink, so you will need to purchase traditional cartridges at your favorite retailer to continue printing when you cancel the service.
