I have an

Hp officejet 6950 printer

And 903xl ink

Why doesnt it recognize it?

Your HP OfficeJet 6950 series printer is only compatible with HP 903 or 903XL cartridges that are intended for your specific region. If the printer does not recognize the 903XL ink, the common reasons are:

Regional mismatch – HP cartridges are region-coded. If the cartridge was purchased in a different region/country than the printer was originally set up for, it will not work.

Non-genuine cartridges – If the cartridge is refilled, remanufactured, or counterfeit, the printer may reject it.

Improper installation – Ensure the orange protective tape and plastic cover are completely removed, and that the cartridge clicks firmly into place.

Firmware update needed – Visit HP Support and install the latest firmware for your printer.
