I Will NEVER purchase another HP product .. Instant Ink is a scam. My printer is being held Hostage because I canceled. I paid hp for almost 2 years, I paid DOUBLE what I could have purchasing product from a store. NOW I'm dealing with hp foreigners at NO-Customer NON SUPPORT... They are minuns that will NOT transfer me to a US representative. While I was on the program, ran out of ink and had to purchase my own ink, and then complained. They sent me a cartridge after the fact. NOW they say I have to remove THEIR CARTRIDGE. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP... I will be having a printer bashing party and will record it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY AN HP, after purchasing no less than 6 hp printers through the years.

No it's not. You can easily install a regular cartridge and start printing again like you used to. Instant Ink is an ink subscription. It doesn't matter if you have a physical item in your hands. Is your TV being held hostage because you cant watch Netflix after you canceled it? No it's not. You just have to watch regular TV.
The misconception of Instant Ink is astounding to put it mildly.
