I haven't printed in months because I haven't needed to, yet I've continued paying HP for Instant Ink because I figured you just never know when you'll need ink. Today, however, after being charged again, I decided to cancel the service thinking "I just paid for this upcoming month's 100 pages, I'll cancel today, and just buy a regular ink cartridge next month."

Imagine my surprise when the cancellation process includes a step that says "You'll be charged one final time on March 8-12"

...excuse me HP? For what? I likely will not print a single page for yet another month in a row, and yet you're gonna charge me again on the day my printer just straight up stops working with the ink cartridge inside it?

How is this legal? If HP charges me on March 8th, I will be issuing a chargeback, and am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I put up with it when HP walked back their "Free For Life" tier. I'm not gonna put up with this company charging me again for a service I'm not using, nor for an ink cartridge that will literally be e-waste.
