macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I currently have an instant ink plan, however my printer has stopped working, it keeps having paper jams, I've tried all the trouble shooting guides with no luck. I'm looking at buying a new printer, many of them come with 6 or 9 months of Instant Ink included. If I buy one, would I be able to add the 6 or 9 months to my existing plan or would I need to set up a new account and cancel my existing plan?
