My ink Carrie’ cartridges did not show up for two months. So I canceled. I was still charged for two more months. In the meantime HP deactivated the cartridges I had already paid for saying “ you canceled “.

Hi @mheckman,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When you sign up for an HP Instant Ink plan, you pay a monthly fee to print a defined number of pages per month. The plans are based on the number of pages that you print, not on how many ink cartridges you use. Ink cartridges are automatically shipped out when the ink cartridges are low on ink.
There is no charge for ink cartridges.

The pages which you have not printed will get accumulated as rollover pages. These rollover pages can be used for printing after you finish printing the regular pages allocated for that month.
HP monitors the ink levels only when your printer is connected to the Internet and Web Services are turned on. Hence, you need to keep the printer connected to internet to receive ink regularly before they are empty.

Replacement ink cartridges are automatically shipped when your ink cartridges have enough ink to print twice the number of pages included in your monthly plan. You do not receive replacement ink cartridges every month, but they should arrive before you run out of ink.

When you cancel the subscription, the cancellation finalizes at the end of the current billing cycle when the final charge processes successfully.
You will not be able to print using the HP instant ink cartridges after the billing cycle ends.

I hope this answers your question.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you, I understand, however, HP continued to charge me for 2 months after I canceled.
Regardless, they had no right to deactivate the “brand new” cartridges I had already paid for before I canceled.
A nice lady named Ruby from HP offered to replace those cartridges. We’ll see… If they arrive I’ll remove the negative review.
