Product: HP 60020e

I am looking at purchasing a HP6020e and would like to sign up for Instant Ink.

My computer is linked to a BT Router but does not have wifi inbuilt.

I can connect a printer usung a usb to the computer.

Is this sufficient or Would I need a WIFI dongle on my computer for this to work or will it work without anything else attached.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you need information about instant ink, I am glad to assist you.

The printer should be connected to the internet so that it can communicate with the server and update your instant ink account.

If you connect the printer to the computer using USB, the printer will be able to communicate with the server.

So USB connection will not work.
