I recently cancelled my Instant Ink subscription. Since the cancellation expiry, the printer has shown the Instant Ink icon. I have had a notification stating my printer is not connected to the Instant Ink subscription. Am I being strong armed to subscribe to the Instant Ink or is there a way around using the printer without subscribing?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
We understand that you have cancelled HP instant ink subscription. At the end of the billing cycle, you must remove Instant Ink cartridges and purchase Original HP Ink or Toner directly from the retailer of your choice to continue printing. Instant Ink cartridges only work in enrolled printers.
