Re HP Instant Ink - I am annoyed that it is charged at $0.16 per page, for the first 50 pages - and $0.23 per page for the remaining pages.  I do not see any valid reason why HP can not charge the same price per page for all pages printed.

HP has a number of different plans, ranging from 10 pages per month for $1.99* ($0.19/page) up to 700 pages per month for $49.99 ($0.07/page).  If you are consistently exceeding the allotment for the 50 page/month plan you may find one of the higher plans a better fit.  If you print less than the allotment for a month you can carry forward unused pages to the next month, up to two or three months depending on the printer and the plan.

If HP had a flat fee per page regardless of usage there would not be any incentive for the higher usage customers.
