I've had an Envy printer for over a year now and I have been using the free tier of instant ink ever since. In fact it was the deciding factor in purchasing the printer to begin with. It was advertised all over the box and all of the marketing material.
I found out today reading an article that HP have removed this plan. I thought this strange as I hadn't heard anything but sure enough when I log into my account I have been signed up to a paid monthly subscription using my credit card details without my permission!!
How is this even remotely acceptable or even legal, I never chose to pay for this monthly service and certainly never gave them permission to take money out of my bank account for it.
I cannot get any meaningful response out of the support methods I've tried so far, so I thought I would try here before I look into going to regulatory bodies etc.

At least one Email message was sent to subscription holders about the change.
I believe the emails were sent out a couple of months ago, though I could be wrong about the timing.
That said, I am certainly not in a position to dispute whether you received your notice.
