HP OfficeJet 4652 All-in-One Printer

Is HP's Instant Ink worthwhile?  Is it difficult to set the printer so that it accepts and prints from other-than-HP Instant Ink cartridges?  Tks in advance!

The benefits of the Instant Ink program will depend on your printing.  HP Advertises typical savings of 50% compared to purchasing cartridges.  Best savings are for printing color, especially photos.  Pages count the same for a full-page photo print as for a page with a few words of text.

Your question about other-than-HP Instant Ink cartridges is not clear, could you explain what you mean?  HP Instant Ink cartridges are not sold, they are provided by HP for use while subscribed to the HP Instant Ink program.  If you do not have an active HP Instant Ink account the cartridges will not operate in your printer.

When you sign up for the Instant Ink program you are NOT purchasing ink, you are purchasing a subscription to a set number of pages per month.  The ink is supplied, but remains the property of HP and must be returned if you cancel the program in accordance with the terms of service.  See sections 5.d and 9.c of the terms of service here.
