Brand-new printer and didn't see anything in reviews about Instant Ink, so I bought the printer and signed up too quickly for Instant Ink. But I had an unusually big print job and burned through all the ink in one of the cartridges before the replacement was auto-sent. I just spent 3 hours with HP customer service to learn that my brand-new printer is basically a nice paperweight (pun intended) because it won't even recognize a mix of Instant Ink and regular cartridges. Make your own decision, but I'd suggest googling "HP Instant Ink scam" before buying an HP printer. If anyone reading this is with HP, I'd appreciate your buying back the printer and the cartridges I purchased.

I understand you are not able to print as the ink cartridge is empty. 

 

To assist you better, we would need some information related to your Instant Ink Subscription. This information cannot be shared on a public post.

Kumar0307 was very responsive. Unfortunately, HP as a corporate entity continues to disappoint. I've now been without printer ink for 13 days, and although Kumar0307 pushed through an order (which the chat representative I initially contacted apparently failed to do), but now I have received an update from HP stating that my order remains delayed. ETA 11-06-2021. IF they meet that commitment, I will have been without a usable printer for a month. You have GOT to be kidding me, HP: you can't get a black Instant Ink cartridge for a current printer for a MONTH? What a cluster. Time to update social media posts.
