HP ENVY 4520 All in ONE
I use Instant ink. My recent delivery contained ONE cartridge ( pink ) smaller than the one it replaced whereas my printer has TWO ( one black) which is larger
I have inserted the one delivered and it provides a faint print.
Should there be two new cartridges ? or does one do the same job as two?

I have HP Envy 4502. I subscribe to Instant Ink. I have received one small pink cartridge My printer has two cartridges, one pink and one black, both large. I inserted the small pink one received to replace the large pink one. I left the black one in the printer. I can now only get very faint prints. Please help. Maybe by sending two correct cartridges

To assist better-
1) Does the copy print out the same way?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -
On the printer control panel, press the Down Arrow to scroll to Tools, and then press OK.
Press the Down Arrow to scroll to Print Quality Report, and then press OK. The printer prints the test page.
Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer - Print Quality Issues
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I still haven't had a reply as to whether one small pink cartridge is supposed to do the work of two old large black and pink cartridges.
1 yes
2 Email reply
I have no down arrow in control panel
Print quality issues says remove black cartridge and try colour only.I have done this and it has improved print clarity
Thank you for your help but could you please answer my first question?
