I have HP Instant ink plan on a HP Smart printer. All cartridges show depleted. No ink. Printer stopped printing.

When I request a  new set of ink (part of my HP Smart plan) via virtual chat, it gives an error:

 

 

 

"Something went wrong - you’ve used this function to order ink too recently. Status:429:

 

 

 

 

What's exact meaning of this error? I has ordered ink previously 32 days back as part of the plan. Am I not allowed to order once a month?

Welcome to the HP English Community --

 

You may not order ink on a schedule.

 

Ink is sent when the printer notifies the service that ink is depleted and it is time for new supplies to be sent.
