I have an instant ink subscription and although I can print wirelessly and it is saying the printer is online my instant ink account has not been able to connect or update since the 2nd June. I have no idea of page use etc. I have tried turning everything off and on. Tried disabling web services and then re enabling. Tried re connecting the network. Nothing is working. I don't understand as I am able to still print wirelessly. When I go on the hp smart page and select printers it says it is online and dashboard info was updated today. But on the instant ink dashboard it is unable to connect and cannot tells me how many pages I’ve used. I worry then i will be over charged or i will run out of ink. I have tried contacting HP support and i am still waiting on facebook messenger and whatsapp for replies. Going around in circles with the troubleshooting advice. Please help. The printed is a HP ENVY Photo 6230 All-in-One Printer. thanks

Good catch: Could be that Web Services is not connecting -- Instant Ink service needs Web Services.

Just in case anyone has the same issue as me. I got in touch with support today and we tried many things including diabling web services and re enabling webservices from the hp smart app rather than on the actual printer. finally we had to restore my printer to factory settings and then from the hp smart app i had to go into webservices and re enable it again. This worked. Hope this helps someone.
