@Marlene98, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Handling a Leaking Instant Ink Cartridge!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you encounter a leaking Instant Ink cartridge, here are the steps you should take:

Remove the Cartridge: Carefully remove the leaking ink cartridge from the printer. It's important to handle it cautiously to avoid any spillage or stains.

Inspect the Cartridge: Examine the cartridge closely for any signs of leaks or physical damage. If the cartridge is visibly damaged, it should not be used.

Safety Precautions: Ensure that you clean any ink spills from surfaces using a paper towel or an appropriate cleaning solution, taking care not to smear or spread the ink further.

Check Printer Settings: Inspect the printer settings to ensure there isn't an ongoing issue with the ink system, and reset your printer if necessary.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
