Hello, I have had this printer without issue for about 6 months but a month ago the printer is showing as offline in instant ink. I have tried everything I can think of to reconnect it, resetting the printer, using scan doctor etc but nothing is working. It was ok until today where the ink cartridges now won't work due to is showing offline in instant ink. I was going to try and remove it and start again but that's not possible! I work in IT yet somehow this is absolutely baffling me how to fix it haha!

@ilorah, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Yes, the printer has to be connected to the internet for the Instant Ink cartridges to be able to print.

Check the connectivity.

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.

Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.

If the suggested information can't be found, please send me a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
