7134

I just purchased an Inkjet printer 7134 with A five month free trial of InstantInk. During setup I requested to start the trial but it seems to have enrolled me without the trial being added to my account. Now, I can’t find any way to activate the five month trial I am entitled to. I get offered a completely new sign up to a two month trial or to buy ink without being on a plan. I can’t find any way of contacting a real person to get this sorted and the virtual agent is worse than useless. I have the HPSmart app (it’s no help) and I’ve tried to remedy on InstantInc.com (it’s no help). I’ve also tried linking from HPSmart to hp.123.com as directed, but this just takes me to a landing page telling me to download the same HPSmart app that I came from in the first place (so, another useless dark pattern). Any help to get my five month trial started would be greatly appreciated. A painful beginning to my life as an HP customer!
