I bought a HP printer from Amazon but returned. I just received my first shipment by USPS of Instant Ink . How do I: 1 Stop the Instant Ink from further being shipped?, and 2  return the package of Instant Ink I received?

To stop further shipments of Instant Ink and return the package you received, follow these steps:

1. Stop Further Shipments of Instant Ink

Cancelling Instant Ink service

  • If you cancel:
  • You can continue printing with Instant Ink supplies until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • At the end of the billing cycle, you must remove Instant Ink cartridges and purchase Original HP Ink or Toner directly from the retailer of your choice to continue printing. Instant Ink cartridges only work in enrolled printers.
  • Your final monthly charge comes at the end of the billing cycle.
  • The Paper Add-on service ends with your Instant Ink service.
  • To cancel:
  • Sign into your account:
  • Home / Home Office: Sign into your Instant Ink account
  • Business: Sign into your Instant Ink for Business account
  • Verify the serial number by selecting Overview, and then Printer Details in the Status area.
  • Click HP Instant Ink, then Update Plan in the left menu.
  • Scroll to Plan Details.
  • Click Cancel my HP Instant Ink Subscription and then follow the prompts.
  • You receive an email confirmation immediately, and another at the end of the billing cycle.

2. Return the Package of Instant Ink

  • HP Instant Ink or Toner cartridges are the property of HP and must be returned when empty or when your service is canceled. Return empty supplies using a recycling envelope or a prepaid return address label from HP.
  • To return empty Instant Ink or Toner supplies:
  • Use the recycling envelope or prepaid shipping label that came with your last shipment of replacement supplies.
  • If you do not have an envelope or label, order more on your account page or HP Planet Partners website.
  • Instant Ink customers: Order return supplies on the account page.
  • Sign into your Instant Ink account or your Instant Ink for Business account.
  • Click HP Instant Ink, and then Overview in the left menu.
  • Click Recycle your ink cartridge or Recycle your toner cartridge at the bottom of the Cartridge Status area.
