Just installed ink cartridge and now it still says to replace and also problem with colour cartridge

Just put in new black instant ink cartridge but replace cartridge message stays on so wont let me print or even check the screen. Also suddenly theres a colour cartrudge problem. Was fine until  i replaced the black

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Restart the devices

  1. Turn off the Router, Printer, and the computer/ mobile devices.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds.
  3. Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize.
  4. Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself.
  5. Turn on the computer/ mobile devices.

Also, perform step 3 from this document. 

 

Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.
