Cartridge
PrinterHi all,
My HP ENVY 4520 very quickly stopped printing complete pages, with large amount of the page unprinted or partially printed, and then eventually stopped printing (paper goes through but nothing inked) completely very recently. I investigated the cartridges after multiple cleanings did not solve the problem and observed that ink has spilled out from the connector between the cartridge and the printer (I've attached images of the connectors).
Should I attempt to clean the ink off from the printer-side of the connector before installing a new cartridge? Is the printer still able to function if there is ink covering those connections?
Please advise, any advice will be greatly appreciated!

@Brodohfasho, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I see that the cartridge is leaking and it is not normal, remove the leaking ink and clean the contacts. Now, install the new ink cartridges and try printing.
If you have issues printing after ink replacement you can write to us and we shall help you!
